Environmental Position
Digital Overcast is a strong supporter and advocate of environmentalism. We feel that it is important to inform and educate the world about how global warming is a real threat that affects us all. In an effort to reducing our footprint on the environment, we have adopted the following amendments as part of our company culture:
- commute using public transportation (OCTA bus running on Natural Gas)
- elimination of plastic and Styrofoam cups
- elimination of water bottles, replaced with filtered tap water
- recycling of aluminum cans, reusing paper (cut into quarters) for taking notes
- turning off computer, monitor and lights at the end of each workday
- taking advantage of electronic documents (PDF) and e-mail to reduce paper
